Kamal Hassan is a versatile actor and he has received lot of national and filmfare awards.He is very much famous in tollywood and kollywood and a well noted hero all over India.His performance in Apoorva Sahodarargal where he acted as a dwarf is unforgettable. He used artificial gums for his teeth in that movie. The camera techniques used to make him look short are mysterious till date.He developed a good phisque for the movie "Kakki Sattai".
He has done some wonderful movies with Singeetham Srinivasa Rao like "Pushpak" ,"Michael Madana Kama Raju", "Apoorva Sahodarargal". He is a trend setter. He is the first hero to act in a sequel movie in tamil and that is Japanil Kalyanaraman which is a sequel of Kalyanaraman. Nayagan is another Kamal's blockbuster. It is included in top 100 times of TIME. He performed wonderfully well in "Indrudu Chandrudu" and he put lot of effort to look an ugly mayor with a big nose and stomach. He used to insert the nozzle of the milk feeder into his nose to make himself look ugly. His ultimate performance can be seen in Swaathimutyam which was accepted by telugu audience very well. He acted in a movie called "Drohi" in which there are no songs at all.He has done "Indian" with director Shankar and he spent lot of hours for make up in that movie. He finally protrayed 10 characters in one movie and that is none other than "Dasavatharam" which was a 100 crore project and it collected nearly 190 crores from all over the world. No doubt that he makes everyone of us feel proud.
